The Umibozu is depicted in Ukiyo-e as a sea monster, resembling a dark silhouette in the ocean. Some believe it resembles a giant octopus, while others see it as a symbol of tsunamis. My design merges elements from the fiercest marine creatures, with a snapping turtle as its base. I placed a "Shachi" (orca or a mythical creature often used in Japanese architecture) atop the turtle's head, integrating the limbs of a crocodile, the suckers of an octopus, arms shaped like shark fins, and a tail similar to a whale's. For the back, I chose one of Japan's most famous Ukiyo-e works, "The Great Wave," making the sides appear as if they are rolling ocean waves. Within these waves, there's a Skull Island, with cliffs where numerous Japanese-style wooden boats are docked.
